🧮 How they are calculated

  • Only auctions currently on the map count: located and with at least one upcoming date. The figures are recalculated every hour.
  • The median is the middle value: half of the properties have a lower starting price and half a higher one. It reflects what is typical better than the average, which a few very expensive properties can push up.
  • Starting prices in US dollars are converted to colones at ₡520 per dollar.
  • The price per m² uses the first-auction starting price and the area stated in the notice, only for properties of 50 m² or more.
